​David Sandro just competed at the 2017 Canadian Championships in Montreal.  He had a great competition.  David qualified for finals in four events, and earned a medal in each event final.

In the all around competition, David placed fourth overall.  David topped his incredible performance from day one with gold medals on pommel and parallel bars, silver on floor, bronze on vault, and fourth all around in the finals.

Nistor and Loredana are excited to welcome Chantel Kowdrysh to the coaching staff as a Women's Competitive Coach at GMG.  Chantel has plenty of qualifications and experience as a coach, judge, choreographer, former Canadian National level gymnast, and dancer. 

Chantel held the positions of Women’s head coach / program director at other clubs as well as Ontario Team Head Coach for Eastern Championships, Tour selection, Provincial championships in both Acrobatic gymnastics and Women’s Artistic.

​She had athletes at both the Provincial and National levels and produced overall and event Provincial and National champions in both Women’s Artistic and Acrobatic Gymnastics.

Chantel was a former dancer with Toronto Dance Works and various other companies with formal training in ballet, modern, and jazz.

She has a reputation for her unique and different choreography and has won several awards for both her beam and floor choreography in both Acrobatic and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics.

Declan Young, Matthew Kwiatkowski and AJ Richards competed in the Level 2 10-11 category.  Declan earned gold on vault!  Matthew was the parallel bar champion in his group, had a bronze medal on floor, and two silver medals for pommel horse and all around.  AJ's best placing was 4th on vault. 

Quinton Dawkins competed in the Elite Level 3 9-11 group and placed 5th all around while earning bronze medals on parallel bars and high bar. 

​Nikita Katashonov was the floor champion in Level 3 12-13 with an all around placing of 4th.

​Logan Bickerton and Curtis Droge competed in the Level 3 14-17 category.  Logan's best placing was 5th on rings and Curtis's best placing was 6th on high bar. 

Trent Milligan and Kael Costen competed in the Level 4 U13 division, and Shiven Patel competed in the Elite 4 11-13 division.  Shiven earned plenty of ribbons with his best performance on parallel bars for 4th place, and 4th place all around.​

​Kael was the vault champion, and earned silver on rings and high bar to accompany his gold medal.  He earned one more medal; a bronze for all around.

​Trent earned gold on floor and parallel bars, and silver on vault.  He got one more gold because he was the all around champion by an impressive 3.6 points.

​The boys competed this past weekend at the MAG First Ontario Cup.  Ryan Oehrlein competed in the Senior Elite 18+ category placing second all around.  He was the vault champion, and earned silver on floor, rings, and high bar. 

​David Sandro competed in the Junior Elite 16-17 category.  David medalled on all events earning gold on floor, rings, and vault,  silver on pommel horse, and parallel bars, and a bronze on high bar.  These placings gave him the all around gold medal.
