  • Boys Head Coach for a number of years. His athletes’ achievements are outstanding, both at Provincial and Eastern Canadian Championships. Some of the gymnasts that Nistor coach are at the National Level. 
Nistor is a former Romanian National Team member with a distinguished career including:
  • 2000 Olympic Games (Sydney, AUS) First Official alternate of the Romanian Team·        
  • 1999 World Championships (Tianjin, CHN) 9th place team·        
  • 1997 World Championships (Lausanne, SUI) 7th place team·        
  • 1996 Olympic Games (Atlanta, USA) 9th place team·        
  • 1996 European Championships (Kopenhagen, DEN) 6th place team, 6th place on Parallel Bars, 5th place on Rings·        
  • 1995 World Championships (Sabae, JPN) Bronze Medal team, 6th place on Horizontal Bar·        
  • 1994 World Championships (Dortmund, GER) 11th place team·        
  • 1994 European Championships (Prague, Czechoslovakia) 7th place team·        
  • 1994 Goodwill Games (Sankt Petersburg, RUS) Silver Medal on Horizontal Bar·        
  • 1991 Juniors European Championships (Athens, GRE) Bronze Medal on Pommel Horse, Bronze Medal on Rings·        
  • 1997 – 2000 National Team Competitions (Hannover, GER) Individual Gold Medal, Silver Medal, 4th and a team Silver Medal

  • 1996 - 1998 member of the Romanian Gymnastics Junior's National Team.
  • Second all around at 1997 National Artistic Gymnastics Final Championships of Romania, becoming the second best junior athlete in the country. Gold medal on high bar, and a bronze medal on rings in event finals.
  • Graduated from the Physical Education and Sports Academy of Bucharest, Romania, in 2006, specializing in Artistic Gymnastics. 
  • Former member of The Romanian State Circus.
